iSpy is a collection of newspaper styled cartoon comic strips, designed by Steven Phillip Young, the initials of which spell out Spy. The idea of iSpy is to ellaborate and communicate the authors own experiences in the form of cartoons. The site features a gallery of high resolution images just as he drew them. In the gallery section you will find a portal to these remarkable images.

Cartoonist's Note On iSpy

The title is ambiguous. The first meaning being quite self-explanatory, referring to what i observe and notice in the world around us; and the second is taken from my name, Steven Phillip Young, of which the first letters spell out SPY.

- which of the two is cheesier is up to you.

However, relating it as what I observe is more descriptive of my cartoons, as they are not necessarily meant to be funny, but more contemplative, thought provoking, an alternative point of view, if you will. Although there are a few silly ones that sneak onto the page (normally during the small hours of the morning after too many glass of cheap wine). Therefore, you could say I cater for those who think they're clever, and not to forget those who know they are idiots but don't mind laughing about it.

Cartoonist's Inspirations

I have been doing this for as long as I can remember, my influences are movies from the 40's and 50's, also history, Gary Larson, Andy cap and pretty much anything that pops into my twisted head.

- For me comic stripping is the most fun you can have by yourself, legally.

Therefore, as an intellectual idiot, I present to you the best of my worst.
